Be informed, dear friend, that both abundance and lack exist simultaneously in our lives, as parallel realities. It is always our conscious choice which secret garden we will tend...Choosing to focus on what is missing from our lives gives purspose and meaning to the effort. Social norms purport to prescribe that we be grateful for the 'abundance' that's present -love, health, family, friends, work, the joys of nature and personal pursuits that bring us pleasure - alleging that the wasteland of illusion falls away and one gets to "experience Heaven on earth.” Isn't life all about awakening the natural curiosity of the minds for the purpose of satisfying it afterwards. Isn't heaven a lifetime pursuit?
We keep moving forward, opening new doors, and doing new things, because we're curious and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths. The important thing is not to stop questioning. Curiosity has its own reason for existing. One cannot help but be in awe when he contemplates the mysteries of eternity, of life, of the marvelous structure of reality.
